Diagnosis and treatment of deep vein thromboses below the inguinal fold

Abstract

The article is devoted to a review of the literature and modern aspects of the management
of patients with deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities below the inguinal fold. A
brief analysis of modern ideas about the clinical picture, complications, methods of diagnosis
and treatment of patients with this pathology were carried out, and methods of surgical tre
atment and the prevention of thromboembolism of the branches of the pulmonary arteries
were also considered
